Digital Strategy??

Marcus Mustafa, ECD at LBi Digitas states in a video entitled "Build A Digital Strategy in 5 Steps" that we should remove the word strategy from digital strategy - "it is STRATEGY fullstop". Without strategy, digital or otherwise; there is no business!

This is one of the fundamental premises that is presented in our programme "Tech4Her@NAWEM". Digital Strategy is not about a whole new way of viewing business. Technology has changed, but the nature of business is much the same as it always was.

One of the pitfalls business owners fall into is being enticed by emerging technology. Digital should be a tool — but is only a part of the bigger picture of what an all encompassing business strategy and how it relates to the business transition process with respect to processes and procedures.

Business owners should not get distracted by buzzwords!
