VISA Foundation
Visa has recently established a new philanthropic platform for giving, called the Visa Foundation, which focuses on helping micro and small enterprises thrive through access, growth and resilience. Our goal is to empower these enterprises and improve their livelihoods—ultimately lifting up their communities.
At the heart of the new social impact focus is the belief that micro and small enterprises are the backbone of the global economy, accounting for more than 90 percent of enterprises worldwide and contributing 50 to 60 percent of global employment¹. However, many of these businesses struggle to access the tools, resources and training to help them fully thrive. The new social impact strategy, including the core mission of Visa Foundation, is to support efforts to fix this imbalance.
Saito University College
In 1988, Mr. Tetsuo Saito established Saito Academy of Graphic Design. With extraordinary entrepreneurial instinct, Mr. Saito put together Malaysia’s first Diploma in Graphic Design, effectively making Saito Academy the local pioneers in design education. His vision was two-fold: 1) Educate and nurture young talents in design, and 2) Identify and unleash their passions.
Over the years, the programs and methods used have been meticulously and rigorously crafted to enable graduates to produce outstanding work, and award-winning ideas that take their careers to the next level. In late 2017, Saito College became Saito University College. With it came degree programs, an expanded teaching faculty and new campuses.
The Asia Foundation
The Asia Foundation is a nonprofit international development organization committed to improving lives across a dynamic and developing Asia.
