ABOUT TECH4HER@NAWEM
Shaping Women Led MSMEs for Online Business Transition
Tech4Her is intended to support women’s economic security and advancement by assisting women to successfully transition and grow their businesses online.
20 Malaysian women micro entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in this fully sponsored program. The program includes a mix of activities such as virtual trainings on business strategy and operations, digital and financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills; one-to-one coaching & mentoring; assistance in creating a web site and social media marketing collateral; and much more.
The COVID-19 crisis has resulted in severe economic hardship for many women across Asia and is a significant factor in rising incidents of gender-based violence. Focusing on vulnerable communities in Malaysia, this program is aimed at these two inter-related challenges through a range of innovative activities designed to build the networks and capacity of micro women entrepreneurs with targeted skills and resources to contribute to their safety and livelihoods.
Tech4Her@NAWEM is implemented by the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM) in partnership with The Asia Foundation (TAF). The program is made possible through the generous support of Visa Foundation.
